Negative Side to Conventional Cosmetics

Women and men spend millions of dollars every year attempting to improve the quality and health of their skin. They spend time and money on products and services to refinish the surface of their skin only to return to habits and routines that continue to damage both their skin and bodies. Most cosmetic and beauty products contain additives, preservatives, and chemicals designed to improve appearances at the cost of health. Not only do conventional cosmetics clog pores and weigh down skin, they also contain harmful toxins that absorb into the blood stream and into the body.

Companies create conventional cosmetics and beauty products using oils and fillers that weigh down skin and clog the pores. Although some of these products create the appearance of smooth, even skin, bacteria and dirt become trapped in the skin by the oils in conventional cosmetics and create pimples and blemishes. Most men and women then resort to even more cosmetic use to cover up these skin problems, resulting in an even greater incidence of clogged pores. Skin absorbs the oils and fillers in conventional cosmetics resulting in makeup that literally weighs down the face. Not only does foundation and powder look heavy, it also feels heavy. This heavy feeling results from not just the skin’s absorption of the product, but also the inability of the skin to breath.

The heavy binders and fillers of conventional cosmetics also contain chemical additives that are harmful to the body. Conventional beauty products such as foundation, blush, eye shadow, and bronzer contain a myriad of binders, toxins and dyes that absorb into the blood stream. A build up of such chemicals can produce allergic reactions and increased sensitivity in some men and women. Some of these allergies and sensitivities can result in chronic conditions and sustained sensitivity to conventional dyes, cosmetics and perfumes. Hypoallergenic products have risen as a result of consumers’ needs to use products less harmful on the body. Although most of these products still contain fillers that clog skin, the rise of products for sensitive skin proves that consumers have reacted poorly to conventional cosmetics.

Naked Minerals contains no additives, dyes, colors, fillers, binders, waxes, or any other ingredient beyond natural minerals. The Naked Minerals makeup is all-natural and uses only the finest minerals to create a cosmetic that improves skin appearance and quality without clogging pores. There are no oils in Naked Minerals that traditionally clog pores, and the weightless feel and function of Naked Minerals allows skin to breathe. Naked Minerals is completely hypoallergenic with none of the toxins or chemicals traditionally found in conventional cosmetics. All of the colors are naturally derived from their mineral origin and none contain the heavy oils found in conventional cosmetics.

Owning The Floor In Sexy Clubwear

Girls, you have to break out of your group of ladies that you came with, and stand strong on your own in sexy clubwear. You'll never get anywhere with that sex in the beach in your hand; go out and get some sex on the beach instead!

Get ready, because we're going out tonight.Ladies, hanging out around the bar all night will ensure that you go home alone each and every time. No need to blend in with the scenery when you head out to the hottest spots, and deck yourself out in sexy clubwear. Your look should be magnetic, and draw people in to your hot body and personality.

Don't you want to look ultra hot and sexy in the best current fashions, rather than the casual top you bought five years ago? Your body is beautiful, and showing your assets is never a bad thing when you know how to work it right. It is ok to step out of the mold and dare to dress to impress, and feel confident all the while. Leave the jeans and t-shirts behind, because sexy clubwear comes in various styles that beg to be noticed.

With all the competition out there, it is often hard for a woman to be noticed at the clubs. Should a woman seek attention, she should not have to beg for it, but simply, command it. With her sexy bust and beautiful stomach revealed, the night is young, and she is ready for anything that comes her way.

Assembling the right outfit will come naturally to you, if you just become in tune with your own personal sense of style, and your inner diva. The biggest misconception is that dressing sexy for the club will attract the wrong kind of attention, when in fact, looking hot is not a crime, and people will take notice when you show off your assets. Nothing to be embarrassed aboutyou look good, and you should be proud, girl!

Sexy clubwear will enhance your overall evening out on the town, and will introduce a whole new you. Wearing the right look for you will teach others a lesson in confidence, beauty, sexuality and overall fun. Make the night about your good time, and the response will be overwhelming. No one will ever see you standing idly at the bar again!

Hair Loss in Female

Hair loss in female occurs in more than one pattern. Hair Loss is caused by the actions of two enzymes; aromatase (which is found predominantly in women) and 5-a reductase (which is found in both women and men). The reason that women experience hair loss during and after menopause is that their estrogen levels decline. Female pattern alopecia affects approximately one-third of all susceptible women, but is most commonly seen after menopause. Common or "hereditary" baldness in women, also called female pattern alopecia, is genetic and can come either the mother's or father's side of the family. Various forms of estrogen can "oppose" androgens and thereby reduce their availability to the cell, by blocking androgen receptors. A woman who notices the beginning of hair loss may not be sure if the loss is going to be temporary or permanent - for example, if there has been a recent event such as pregnancy or illness that may be associated with temporary hair thinning.

In women more often than in men, hair loss may be due to conditions other than androgenetic alopecia. Because beautiful hair is a sign of youthfulness and longevity, hair loss can leave you feeling confused, helpless, frustrated and angry. Many women do not realize that hair loss can occur after pregnancy or following discontinuation of birth control pills. It may also follow any sudden physical or psychological stress to the body. Alopecia means baldness, but just as in men, it does not have to be complete hair loss. This is seen as hair thinning predominantly over the top and front of the head. Treatment of this type of hair loss includes immunomodulating therapies such as glucocorticoids, topical immunotherapy, or anthralin, or biologic-responce modifiers such as Minoxidil. The choice of treatment depends on the patient's age, as well as the extent of hair loss.

Causes of Female hair loss:

The most common causes of hair loss in women are not related to inherited genes, but to temporary metabolic problems associated with pregnancy, unusual stress, thyroid hormone deficiency, chemotherapy, crash diets, major surgery, severe infection or high fever. A possibly autoimmune disorder that causes patchy hair loss that can range from diffuse thinning to extensive areas of baldness with "islands" of retained hair. Hair loss due to trichotillomania is typically patchy, as compulsive hair pullers tend to concentrate the pulling in selected areas. Hair loss due to this cause cannot be treated effectively until the psychological or emotional reasons for trichotillomania are effectively addressed. Certain drugs can also take their toll on once lush and healthy tresses.

Symptoms of Female hair loss:

The main symptoms are:

1. Thinning of hair over the entire head.
2. Mild to moderate hair loss at the crown or hairline.

Treatment of Female hair loss:

Treatment options for women are more limited than those available to men. A consultation with a skilled specialist to discuss your options is advised. The popular topical treatment Rogaine for women (minoxidil) can be used by women. And many women do hair restoration surgery to restore their hair. Hormone replacement pills, such as Prempro, plus Aldactone are better after menopause. Experienced hair transplant surgeons can often achieve excellent results in women with the new follicular unit and minigraft techniques. If treatment fails, or is not desired professional counseling might be of help. Perms, dyes and other cosmetic options can be used to give a fuller appearance to hair.

7 Tips to Home Hairdressing

1 - Get the right Equipment

* Scissors - You cant cut hair without them!An investment in a good quality pair of Hairdressing Scissors is the best decision you can make. You wont need a £200+ pair but spend as much as you can afford on this essential kit.
* Hair dryers - A cheap Hairdryer seems like a good option, but spend wisely. Buy one with as many features as possible, attachments and multiple heat settings are good. You want to ensure your clients are comfortable, and blasting them on full power because you cant turn it down will not get you repeat business
.* Straighteners - GHD Straightenerss have gained a good reputation for home use, as have Remington straighteners, again go with the best you can afford, read the reviews online and avoid the cheap options. Your clients are your bread and butter, and they need to feel safe in your hands, seeing good quality equipment will give them piece of mind, and will ensure happy clients.
* Hair Clippers - Depending on the type of hairdessing you want to do - you may decide you don't need a pair of hair clippers, however for the cheap prices a set can be picked up for, it's worth having some in your kit bag. You may not be intending to cut male hair, but a quick trim can be performed quickly and easily for your clients husbands or boyfriends, and that means more money in your pocket! (You could even offer a 'couples discount'!)
* Hair Products - There are thousands of hair products on the market, shampoo, wax, hairspray, styling mousse etc. Having something for everyone is virtually impossible, and everyone has their own favourite brand so your best bet is to go for some well known branded products. Don't break the bank here. Give your clients the option of using their own products. If you are styling a clients hair in their home you can use their own products, but take the opportunity to sell your own recommended brands. (You can buy in bulk, and resell at a profit!)

2 - Know your Market

You have a choice of two main types of hairdressing, you must pick the one that suits your needs the best.Choice 1 is the more modern salon style of hairdressing, this style follows fashions and styles directly.Choice 2 is the more traditional hairdressers, this choice usually requires less training, as the work is less about styling hair and concentrates more on the basic cutting of hair.Find out what would give you the best return in your area, if you are providing mobile hairdressing services then the simpler cutting style will benefit you best, it requires less equipment and less of your valuable time!

3 - Advertising

Local advertising is the best way to sell your services. Word of mouth will only get you so far, so if you want to be a success, then you need to get your details into the marketplace where others can find you!You can get a free listing right here in our Leeds Hairdressers Directory, or a paid listing to get a featured advert.
Try putting an ad on Gumtree or Craiglist - make sure you select the right section for your local area.Buying an ad in local papers, is usually a good investment, as well as ads in shop windows. If you have a car, get yourself a sticker made with your name and number on (include your website if you have one) and you are getting free advertising everywhere you drive!

4 - Price yourself into the Market

Hairdressers generally charge a set price for the work or style that is carried out, find out what others are charging in your area and undercut them if you think you can afford it. Be realistic though and don't undersell yourself, if you develop a reputation for quality you may be able to increase your prices in the future.
Print up a price list and leave it with your clients, leave a couple extra and ask them to pass them on to friends (remember to include your details so they can contact you!)

5 - Qualifications and Skills

A qualification in hairdressing (such as an NVQ) is an excellent selling point and can be obtained relatively easily through night school courses or colleges.Trainee positions at salons are often highly competed, but don't be afraid to learn your trade in a salon then branch off on your own, if you are ruthless you can take some of your clients with you too!

6 - It doesn't hurt to Read!

Below are a couple of recommended books that can be picked up from any good high street bookstore, or online shop:
Haircutting for Dummies (ISBN: 076455428X) - I'm not calling you a Dummy, but most people have to start somewhere!
How to Simply Cut Hair (ISBN: 0929883063) - A Step by Step Guide to the Six Basic Haircuts That Can Be Combined or Altered to Create Just About Any Hairstyle

7 - Set up a Salon

If you are great at what you do, and build up a good client base then you may consider setting up your own Salon, this is a competitive business, and is not something you should do lightly. Make sure you have already got clients that would be willing to come to your salon, so you have a guaranteed customer base and income stream.
